The Necklace
Matilda the richest woman on the block. She had the fanciest apparel in all of town. She used to live in the middle class, but she came up in such a way that she now had the most money in all of her town. After collecting all this money she bought a chateau. After years of living in the high class she had a son named Josh. Josh was a brilliant boy, and could practically solve any problem in seconds. He became a topper in school, and excelled in everything.
One fine morning Matilda called him in a room and told him about all the stress and pain she had to go through to get to the status she was in. She left out the part where she lost the necklace, just to make herself look good. Her last statement was that money is the best thing in the world. After this Josh forgot about everything and started to focus on how to gain money. The first thing that he ever did in his life that came close to stealing and thieving was when he threatened to push someone of a building using money. Like that every week he would gain an average amount of 10 francs. Like that he started building an influence on many people including his own friends. One day his mother gave him a surprise. They had adopted a 14 year old girl. They two were the smartest kids, yet the most dangerous kids in town. As they both grew up they grew more and more violent. One day Josh thieved his first house, and his sister, Jill, was waiting. With surprised look on his face Josh dropped all the money he was carrying and Jill found out that he was thieving.
“I know that you are thieving,” said Jill.
“SO,” Josh snapped back.
“ You are totally inept at this type of thing,” replied Jill very serenely.
“Thieves should act normal when people suspect that people are thieves,” said Jill.
“How do you know that,” asked Josh.
“I was a robber, before I was sent to the orphanage,” said Jill. Josh was very shocked at that certain statement. Soon they started their own little band of thieves. They robbed and they used a little underground storage room as their “secret” base. People knew about it, and people would not try and bother them, because they were scared. They lied in many different ways such as they were doing group studies or something like that. They learned to never forsake a robbery, ever. Half the band got shot by the police for thieving. People heard about the little band, and the remaining band members got together and created a band twice as big. This led to more robberies and soon this little town had the highest crime rate of any town there was in France. The police also stepped in , but they also stopped, because they couldn’t do anything. Soon the police had to recede back, because they felt threatened in that area. They did an immense amount of robberies. People became frightened to step out of the house. Some people were caught and they were given horrible punishments. Soon some of the kids started robbing their own houses for money. People started becoming more distant with each other thinking that the other person was the robber.
One day Josh got an idea.
“Lets start murders,” said Josh.
“WHAT,” gasped the whole gang.
“ I mean that way we can get more money and supply ourselves with more equipment,” said Josh. With Josh’s idea they didn’t murder, but merely threaten them with their life. Finally after a year of doing these type of things they decided to rob Matilda.
It took weeks of planning, but they were able to spare time and do this. Matilda has very high security, so the only they can do this was for Josh and Jill to go in and to this strange heist.
Suddenly on the day of the heist they faced one major problem. Mr. Loisel suddenly started denouncing them in the middle of public.
“Why is he doing that,” asked Jill.
“I know why, but I am not going to tell,” said Josh.
“ Tell me or else I am going to murder you,” said Jill.
“No, Never, Not,” said Josh. Jill picked up a knife and threatened Josh with it for an hour, and then he gave in.
“ I am not the real Josh,” said “Josh”.
“ I switched places with him when my parents did when I was 3,” he said.
“ Then where is he,” said “Josh”.
“It all began with his great great great great grandfather...
