Lyric Poem: A Day With A Me

In the morning when it’s early,

I wake up softly and pearly,

In the air the smell of fresh pear,

fills my nose.

Then I doze,

Until I hear the hose.

I get up from my bed and walk to my window,

I look outside with happiness and splendor,

The grasses are green and very serene,

The wind is blowing and the water is flowing

I hear zen music from my dogs den,

Then he comes jumping in

My dog is brown and like a cute clown

He is cheerful and not at all fearful

My friends are playing on the swing and very happily singing

My mom serves me pancakes with syrup and says “cheer up!”

Then her words echo in my head, and my picture in my dream starts to shake

“Wake up! Wake up!” Mom screams in my ear “Schooooool!!!!!!”

I am hurrying again.

I love this season as it is fun

when        snowflakes

                fall

                    from

                        above

All is white and the trees are bare

The

ground

is

thick

but very soft

so if

    we

        fall

we won’t get hurt
